Fantastic mid-century modern upholstered gondola sofa made in the style and manner of James Mont. The chic sofa features a gondola sled inspired wood frame with an ebonized black lacquer finish. The wood frame is low slung upholstered with a Chinoiserie motif dragon fabric inspired by Jack Larson. The sofa is in "as found" condition with faded fabric and older repairs to the frame. The sofa has a dramatic profile and design with original makers label. The long frame has three fitted loose seat cushions and gracefully curved arms measuring 21 inches high.
