An architectural pair of oversized patio and garden "Jennifer" lounge chairs designed by Michael Taylor produced in fiberglass, and also an all-weather resin wicker. Designed for actress Jennifer Jones (Mrs. Norton Simon) when she asked him for a chair that she could curl her legs in and relax. The iconic chair design features a low profile framed by thick rolled arms and a continuous wrap-around back, creating a dramatic bulbous profile. The chairs are constructed from steel frames wrapped with woven all-weather resin wicker in a honey-blonde tone with bound edges at the base. The chairs are accented by crisp off-white textured seat cushions. The chairs blend California Coastal Organic Modern, and Palm Beach styles and influences to create chairs that can provide warmth and texture to a number of interiors. The chairs are sturdy with solid construction and a tidy finish. Very good, well-preserved condition as seen in photos.
