Mario Papperzini Amalfi Iron Garden Lounge Chair + Ottoman
$5,800.00
An authentic Mid century Modern Italian neoclassical patio and garden adjustable chain-back Amalfi lounge chair and matching ottoman designed by Mario Papperzini for John Salterini. The iconic chair features a thick wrought-iron frame with neoclassical inspired lattice back and seat in a geometric pattern accented by ball finials. The chair back has adjustable chains that recline at different angles. The seat is supported by thick iron legs having a hand-hammered finish conjoined by star shaped stretchers. The iron has a beautifully weathered, aged patina with a verdigris finish in a deep bronze-toned patina with a nuanced verdigris. The iron finish has small old paint remnants still visible commensurate age and use. The sculptural modern profile has generous seats with new non-original seat cushions in an all-weather beige fabric. Sold as a pair. From an estate in Hollywood, California. The ottoman measures approximately 24.75" wide, 21.5" deep, and 12" high. We also have another associated Lounge chair and ottoman from the same estate available.
