A beautifully crafted pair of woven rattan wicker sofas designed in the manner and style of Michael Taylor by The Wicker Works. The sofas features pole rattan frame construction clad in woven pencil reed rattan wicker with a thick braided border around the seat. The sofas are crafted with a deep and low-slung profile with a curved wrap-around back and sides sitting atop a substantial plinth base. Each sofa is fitted with a loose bench seat cushion and a long back cushion upholstered in a natural linen fabric, presenting a clean contrast to the warm honey-toned rattan. The sofas have solid joinery and construction having newly upholstered seat cushions in exceptional condition as seen in photos. The pair is crafted in a blend of Organic Modern, California Coastal, and tropical Palm Beach styles suitable for a variety of spaces. Sold as a pair. From an estate in La Jolla, CA.
