A beautifully rendered Chinese Export 20th century painting depicting a pair of peacocks amid an ancient tree with blossoming pink flowers. Executed in ink and natural color pigments on paper with exceptional line-work. The painting displays a male and female peacock, the male shown with iridescent feathers fanned out in vivid shades of jade green, cobalt blue, and gold, while the female is colored in softer olive and cream tones.
