Substantial Italian specimen coffee or cocktail table made on a monumental scale measuring 70 inches wide. The table features a large geometric mosaic of multi-colored honed marble in the neoclassical style. The large specimen top is supported by a long bronzed metal base having turned legs conjoined by an x form stretcher and ending with bell shaped feet. The X stretchers are centered by a round decorative finial. The specimen top is constructed from tightly set shaped square tiles in a palette of green, blue, rust, white, black, and grey tiles with veining. Crafted in the classic Italian Pietra Dura style. The table is incredibly heavy and solid with a svelte silhouette and intriguing top.
