Imposing country French provincial farmhouse dining table crafted from radiant walnut on a monumental scale. The table features a thick plank top supported by a massive trestle base. The square legs measure nearly 4 inches thick having chamfered edges and conjoined by long H shaped stretchers with peg joinery. Very heavy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The large proportions showcase the rich woodgrains of the walnut throughout the piece. The table measures 24.25 inches from the floor to the apron for ample legroom. Beautifully crafted with a handsome profile and a lovely aged patina on the finish.
