Grand country French provincial farmhouse dining table crafted from solid oak timbers. The massive table is made in a monastery style and features a 104 inch long rectangular top that measures nearly 3 inches thick. The top is supported by a trestle base having hourglass shaped legs. The legs are conjoined by a long stretcher having an exposed mortise and tenon joinery and end with large shoe feet. The table is very heavy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The dark finish showcases the rich woodgrains. The table is surprisingly straight without a noticeable warp as most large trestle tables have. The top is secured with iron bolts to the legs.
