Impressive silver gilt wall mirror crafted in the baroque taste by Howard Elliot. The mirror is nearly 5 feet tall and 4 inches deep. The frame has a Flemish inspired design with notched corners. The frame is embellished with foliate, acanthus, and rocaille motifs having a delicate beaded inner and outer border. The frame has a thick, beveled glass mirror plate. The silvered finish has an intentionally distressed patina to mimic age. The frame is deeply carved with intricate details. From an estate in San Francisco, California.
