A modernist square "Normandie" games table by Therien Studio Workshops, constructed from oak with a dramatic Koa wood veneer creating a refined two-tone composition. The top is meticulously executed in a geometric parquetry pattern with a warm honey-toned surface laid in concentric, stepped square fields. The top is framed by a perimeter band and is set over a darkly stained, espresso-toned oak base having canted angular legs. The support is made up of four portal frame legs with a rectilinear profile. The wood is finished in a soft satin sheen. The original Therien Studios Workshop brass plaque resides under the table. Equally suited for use as a games table, a center table, or a small-scale dining table. The table has a clearance of 25.5" from the floor to the apron for ample leg room.
