Amazing pair of Mid-Century Modern faux bamboo carved armchairs made in the Chinese chippendale taste. The pair feature a stunning coral red lacquered finish. Beautifully contrasted by white faux leather naugahyde upholstery. Made in the U.S. by Whitlock's in rising sun, Indiana. Distinctly carved chairs with large bamboo nodes and chopped ends on the arms and back. Lovely whimsical style and profile from an estate in San Francisco, CA. These statement chairs make a great visual focal point in any room or entry.

Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with strong joinery. Age patina on finish with age appropriate wear as seen in photos. Minor stains on borders of fabric which are very difficult to see.
