Pair of Thomas Pheasant for Baker Max Tufted Club Chairs

Hollywood modern pair of large max club chairs or lounge chairs designed by Thomas Pheasant for Baker. The chairs feature a large hardwood frame with slightly different but complementary shimmery grey fabric upholstery. One chair has a polished grey linen fabric, and the other has a polished grey textured fabric in a moire pattern. Each chair has a tufted pillow back and is supported by grey painted, tapered legs with decorative brass tack nail head borders. The large frames have square backs and gracefully curved arms that are scalloped at the end with a sculptural profile. Each seat has a thick fitted loose seat cushion and is very comfortable. Strong and sturdy in very good condition with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Sold as a pair.
