Dennis & Leen Beauvais Painted Square Salon Games Center Table

$4,800.00

An elegant Beauvais game table or center table designed by Dennis & Leen, Hollywood, CA. The square table executed in a French Salon Neoclassical style with an elegant painted distressed finish. The sculptural design features a square top sitting on a shaped serpentine frieze with opposing drawers and raised on graceful cabriole-form legs. The square top is decorated with a faux-inlaid border in soft taupe tones with subtle corner flourishes. The elegant apron features Neoclassical shell rocaille carved accents, scrolling ornaments, and two generous storage drawers positioned on opposite sides. The legs also feature matching carved shell details at the knees and additional carved acanthus accents at the feet. The table is finished in a warm ivory or parchment-toned palette with an intentional softly antiqued patina, giving a subtle time-softened appearance. The finish is intentionally distressed to mimic age as seen in the photos. The table is stylistically versatile, blending French Neoclassical, Rococo, and Louis XV styles. The scale is functionally versatile, usable as a games table, occasional table, or as a center table. The table has ample leg room measuring approximately 25" from the floor to the apron. The discreet drawers are fully functional and slide smoothly. The table is sturdy with strong joinery and solid construction. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA.
