Handsome pair of English patinated brass andirons featuring large spherical cannonball finials. Made in the grand Regency taste each cannonball is supported by a pair a gracefully arched legs in the front and a turned support in the back having a small ball finial. The large balls are sculptural, having almost a celestial quality in the design and patinated aged finish. Heavy and solid construction with a satin sheen. From an estate in the Napa Valley, California.
