Pair of Dutch Baroque Style Iron Brass Andirons

Distinctive pair Dutch Baroque style andirons crafted from patinated brass and iron. The large andirons feature round cannonball spheres having an etched gun metal finish topped with circular brass discs ending with a round ball finial. The columns are supported by a footed base decorated with cherub masques, acanthus, rocaille, and coiled dolphins on the legs. The iron and brass have a lovely patinated finish as seen in photos. From an estate in Napa Valley, CA. The iron finish adds a nice accent and contrast compared to the fully brass finished examples that are more common.
