A refined modern round glass and bronze pedestal table, designed by Thomas Pheasant for McGuire, San Francisco. The distinctive table features a thick sculptural pedestal base crafted out of darkened patinated bronze finished in a hand-tooled reeded faux bois texture with an oxidized verdigris finish layered on the bronze tones. The round thick glass top is supported by three pairs of connected vertical columns, each joined by a low stretcher doubling as the feet. Designed by Thomas Pheasant for McGuire's Thomas Pheasant Collection, the piece is crafted with Organic Modern, Palm Beach Regency, and California Coastal stylistic influences, suitable for a variety of interiors as a center table, garden, or dining table. The bronze frame is substantial having excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The table is in exceptional condition with a minor interior flaw on the edge of the glass that is difficult to see.
