Set of Four McGuire Antalya Laced Rawhide Rattan Dining Chairs

Iconic set of four laced rawhide rattan dining chairs made in the California coastal organic modern style by McGuire. The Antalya chair (model #MCLM44) features a rattan pole frame woven with leather rawhide laces. The frame has a directors chair style x-form stretcher under the seat. This bespoke set of chairs feature a dark tobacco finish on the rattan and leather with an intentionally aged and distressed patina. The custom chairs were ordered for a Peter Hunter design installation in Malibu, CA. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a weathered finish on the leather laces. Original order tags and makers plaques on bottoms.
