Iconic set of four Amalfi adjustable chain back lounge chairs designed by Mario Papperzini. The set consists of all armchairs featuring an iron framework inset with geometric lattice strapping. The tops of the seat backs and arm supports have decorative bronze ball finials. The backs all have adjustable chains to customize the seating position. The heavy frames have a dramatic black finish and are topped with back and seat cushions. Sturdy and solid chairs having excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The chairs are in exceptional condition as seen in photos. The mid-century modern design by Mario Papperzini is marketed through high-end sites such as Amalfi, Janus et Cie, and of course originally John Salterini. Sold as a set of four. The chairs are located in our California warehouse, ready for delivery and installation.
