Elegant set of eight bamboo rattan organic modern dining chairs by Orlando Diaz-Azcuy for McGuire furniture. Known as the Salon armchair constructed from rattan poles lashed together with leather rawhide laces on the exposed joints. The square backrest is centered with a round ring that is upholstered. The generous seat has a reeded style apron and is supported by round legs conjoined by an X-stretcher. The gracefully curved arms measure 24 inches high. Upholstered with a geometric pattern striped fabric with Greek key designs over iridescent jewel toned hues. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a unique profile. From an estate in Napa Valley, CA. Each chair retains the McGuire maker's plaque and order tags from Charles Gruwell design.
