Opulent marquis bergere á la Reine salon chair designed by Ralph Lauren in the grand French Louis XVI taste. Known as the "Duchess Salon Chair" featuring a hardwood frame bench made in England from beechwood. Part of Lauren's Duchess collection finished in the U.S. by artisans at Theodore Alexander. The oversized queen's chair has a custom ordered velvet sterling upholstery accented by polished brass tack nail heads. The frame has a rich, dark mahogany finish that perfectly compliments the cream toned plush fabric. The chair is solid and sturdy in exceptional condition having excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Original makers tags, order tags, and MSRP of $8691 from Ralph Lauren. The stately chair has a classic silhouette and detailed finishes as seen in photos.
