Exquisite Italian Art Deco style lacquered Duke three-drawer nightstand or chest designed by Ralph Lauren. The "Duke" collection inspired by 1930s design features piano finished black lacquered wood, hand-polished steel with chrome-like finishes, and black tinted glass. The case is fronted by three large drawers with soft-close mechanisms and a thick polished frame. The case is mounted to a plinth base having a floating design profile. The chest is heavy and solid having excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Made in Italy for Ralph Lauren and signed with a silver plaque on the inside drawer. Exceptional condition as seen photos with all original hardware, extras, and literature bag.
