A beautifully hand-crafted bronze three-tiered dessert server, muffin stand, display, hors d' oeuvres service, or centerpiece. The piece features three graduated and scalloped tiers or shelves rising from an upwardly tapering hammered column. Each tier is crafted in the form of a stylized shell or blossom, with the surface hammered into radiating gadrooned petal-like edges spiraling outwards from the center. The shelves extend outwards from a tapering stem with a flared base with a twisted vertically ribbed surface. The bronze throughout is finished with a hand-hammered planished finish having an attractive aged patina to the dark bronze in the style of an English garden water fountain.
