A stylish pair of mid-century modern side drinks tables made in the California coastal style and manner of McGuire, San Francisco, CA. The distinctive tables are crafted out of bamboo and rattan. The sculptural frames feature bamboo and rattan pole construction joined by rattan wicker reed lashings. The pair is built in a dramatic Z-form frame topped by a hardwood oak top with rich swirling woodgrains. The materials throughout the table are finished with a weathered tortoise-like mottled patina with variegated darkening and veining throughout. The pair is crafted in a distinct mix of Mid-Century Organic Modern, Palm Beach Tropical, and Hollywood Regency styles, in the manner of similar pieces by McGuire Furniture and Paul Frankl.
