A striking pair of French mid-century modern iron and brass garden or patio lounge chairs in the manner and style of Maison Jean. The chairs feature a geometric diamond-lattice "Eiffel Tower" frame around the sides and back and is intricately detailed with round polished brass rosettes at each intersection. The chairs are constructed with a neoclassical silhouette with crisp metalwork creating a sheltered cube style or cage-like profile around the cushioned interior. The chairs are finished in a bold citrus Hermès Orange enameled style powder-coated finish. The chairs are supported by slim, tubular legs on rounded ball end feet. The interior is upholstered with large crisp white tailored box cushions that are removable. The chairs blend Neoclassical, and Mid-Century Modern French influences, making them suitable for use indoors or outdoors in a sunroom, pool house, or garden, on a terrace or balcony, or poolside. The frames measure 32" deep and 23.5" tall without cushions. The arms measure 23.5" tall. Sold as a pair.
