Pair of French Empire Demilune Flip-Top Consoles by Ira Yeager


Opulent pair of 19th century French empire demi-lune console tables or round dining tables with a flip top that has been faux-marble lacquered on top by artist Ira Yeager (American 1938-2022). The grand pair of tables are crafted from thick mahogany with a dramatic gilt finish. The consoles are supported by Napoleonic column style fluted legs with spade feet.

Lovely aged, distressed patina on gilt finish as seen in photos. Demilune tops later (20th century) painted with a faux-marble finish by the artist.
