Pair of Dessin Fournir Ribbon-Back Oak Dining Armchairs
$3,500.00
A sophisticated pair of oak upholstered armchairs made by Dessin Fournir, Los Angeles, CA. The "Ribbon Back Armchairs" (model #1002A) feature dramatic looped ribbon-back splats with crisp squares frames, crowned by a subtle shell crest accent. The backs create a trellis of interlocking loops within the square frame, adding a unique accent to the chairs. The intriguing loops evoke a serpent or tree of life motif with a sinuous design. Each chair frame is reeded crafted in a warm honey-toned oak wood, supported by tapered front legs. The seat is upholstered in an ivory or cream textured weave flanked by gracefully curved arms. Dessin Fournir tag underneath chairs. Arms measure approx. 26.25" tall. The frames are sturdy having solid joinery. The original fabric has light stains as seen in photos. Sold as a pair. Would also serve as interesting hall or library chairs. From an estate in the Napa Valley, CA.
