Midcentury Bronze Astrological Armillary Lamp by Frederick Cooper


Impressive mid-century modern bronze brass table lamp featuring a large astrological zodiac armillary sundial sphere. The lamp was produced by Frederick Cooper Chicago, Illinois. The top is fitted with a milk glass shade and a paper shade cover in a gilt finish. The bronze and shade have a lovely aged patina on the finish. The base measures 10 inches wide, and the sphere is 14 inches wide. Beautifully detailed from an estate in Napa, CA.

Condition: Good, wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with an aged, patinated finish. Age appropriate wear and fading with two tiny holes in the shade which are difficult to see on one side as shown in photo.
