Midcentury 13 Piece Modular Sectional Sofa After Tito Agnoli
$9,800.00
Monumental Italian mid-century modern 13 piece modular sectional sofa in the style and manner of Tito Agnoli for Arflex. The 9000 sofa design consists of individual seats with rounded fronts and curvaceous channeled backs. The sides are flush and meant to be placed end on end to create a unique sofa that conforms into the space. The set consists of 11 side chairs and two corner seats measuring 27 inches wide and deep. As shown the sofa measures 164 inches wide and 93 inches deep with all 13 pieces, but it can be fashioned in a multitude of variations. The frames are covered with vegan naugahyde having a subtle marbled leather finish in a rich camel or cognac tone. The seats are supported by round black lacquered feet. The backs have graceful waterfall forms down to the barrel shaped seat. The sofa has a unique modernist profile. Sturdy and solid with minor wear on some bottom edges as seen in photos. Sold as a set of 13. The design was also offered by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Cassina in the 1960's.
