A stylish labeled mid-century modern brass pharmacy task floor lamp made by Casella Lighting, California. The "C1230" lamp with an oversized "J" shade is crafted with a double-joint articulated swing arm. The arm supports a rare extra large 11-inch angular shade fitted with a dimmer and a reflective interior, allowing the shade to swing, extend, and pivot. The shade and arm sit atop a large column of thick brass extending from a substantial weighted disc base on small nylon feet. The brass throughout has a warm, buttery patina with an attractive age spotting and an authentic weathered character. Crafted in a mid-century modern style, the lamp is well-suited for a variety of spaces, such as a study, library, living room, or bedroom. Casella's maker's label on bottom of base.
