Iconic sofa designed by Marcel Wanders studio for Roche Bobois. The Montgolfiere sofa measures over 9 feet long and features round armrests inspired by the 18th century French Montgolfier Brothers who invented the hot air balloon in 1783. The sofa frame has a bulbous form as if filled with air with a balloon like silhouette. The modern sofa designed with Roche Bobois' signature savoir-faire. The sofa is mounted to a platform base with a low slung profile. The short legs have been removed to further enhance the long, low profile and curved form. The sofa is located at our California warehouse available for immediate delivery and installation.

Condition: Good, wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with solid joinery and construction. Age appropriate wear with one visible snag on arm fabric as shown in photos. Very good, well preserved condition. Legs have been removed to lower height.
