Fantastic French Louis XIV style center table featuring a faux-marble top with a painted bust by artist Ira Yeager (American 1938-2022). The artist's rendition of a 17th century opulent centre table. The top of the table has clipped corners with a thick edge and a glossy faux-marble finish. The marble features a bust of a French man "Louis Alexander Beaulieu de Surville" dated 1785 on the lapel. Supported by a turned leg base that was covered with gold leaf and painted with a matte grey finish showcasing large gilt rosettes on the sides. The legs are conjoined by x-form stretchers with a finial in the center. This grand table was used as a prop for Ira's artwork at his gallery in Calistoga, CA.
