Impressive brushed steel and patinated bronze clad writing table, desk, or console made in the manner and style of John Vesey (American 1924-1992). The desk is fronted by two storage drawers with bronze pulls. The desk is constructed in the grand French neoclassical Louis XVI style. The top of the case features a glass top with a faux-malachite background. The case is supported by elegant bronze mounted legs that taper and end with bronze sabots. The narrow size allows it to be used as a console. The piece is sturdy with solid joinery. The steel and bronze have a desirable aged patina on the finish.
