Eric Jourdan for Ligne Roset Snowdonia Cream Modernist Sofa

$6,800.00

A sculptural Modernist Snowdonia Sofa designed by Eric Jourdan (French b. 1961) for Ligne Roset, France. Constructed in the early 2000s in the Rhône-Alpes region of France. The low-slung design features a seamless, enveloping body with a broad curved back and subtly drawn-in arms creating a refined cocooned seat. The model is described by Ligne Roset as combining sensuous curves with purity of line. A recessed ebonized plinth base give the piece an understated floating effect, while exposed chromed metal supports provide a crisp contrast. The sofa is upholstered in a warm light ivory textile fabric complementing the sofa's subtle minimalist presence. The sophisticated sofa is suitable for a variety of interiors with a French Modernist and Minimalist profile. Ligne Roset tag is present on back of sofa. The sofa's arms measure 22" tall. The sofa is sturdy and strong having excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The fabric is presentable and clean with minor small marks as seen in photos.
