Imposing country French provincial farmhouse trestle dining table crafted from walnut. The table features a 2.5 inch thick walnut plank top with a warm honey toned finish. The large top is supported by a trestle base with double baluster form legs on each side ending with thick 5 inch wide shoe feet. The legs are conjoined by a long stretcher having an exposed mortise and tenon joinery. The trestle base is constructed with wood peg joinery. The table showcases the rich walnut wood grain patterns throughout, but especially on the top which is age faded into a lighter shade and beautifully accents the darker bottom. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a distinctive profile and large scale presence.
