A magnificent large French Provincial country farmhouse trestle dining table having a stripped bleached oak finish measuring over 8 feet long. The table features a generously proportioned 2" thick solid oak plank top that is constructed from wide-board oak planks showcasing beautiful wood grain movement on the stripped finish. The warm bleached honey tone of the oak with years of natural patination and use gives the piece an authentic country character. The top is supported by a trestle base having four boldly turned baluster legs rising from large turned ball feet, transitioning through ringed collar details to square corner blocks. The legs are connected by a H-stretcher with visible wood treenail joinery throughout. Crafted in a rustic French Provincial country farmhouse style, the table is well suited for a variety of classical, country, and contemporary spaces. The table has ample leg clearance measuring 24" inches from the floor to the apron. The frame has a handsome profile and classic Euro skinny dimensions for intimate dining.
