Bamboo Rattan Sideboard Credenza with Demilune Ends

Handsome sideboard credenza that represents everything wonderful about the modern use of rattan. Incredible geometric patterns reminiscent of art deco with modern shapes and lines. While touching modernism the rattan keeps the piece grounded in natural forms. The credenza is fronted by two large storage doors opening up to a large shelved storage area. The case is embellished with split reed rattan poles making a geometric veneer with lovely demilune shaped ends. The top is decorated with rattan slices under a conforming oval pane of thick glass. Beautifully crafted with a lovely aged patina on the finish. No makers mark however the piece was well inspired by Franco Albini and Gabriella Crespi.
