A substantial 20th century French bleached oak farmhouse trestle dining table crafted in the Country Provincial style. The construction features a rustic thick plank top, elaborately turned legs, and a low stretcher base, joined by exposed mortise-and-tenon and peg joinery. The weathered table is crafted out of solid oak and finished in a soft pale bleached tone beautifully highlighting the vivid natural grain. The rectangular top is constructed from multiple planks and rests above an apron raised on four baluster-turned legs ending in square block feet. Low stretchers conjoin the legs and provide structural stability and visual balance. The table is suitable for a variety of interiors, blending French Provincial, Country, Rustic, and European Farmhouse styles. The table has ample leg clearance of 24.25", with a space of 52" between legs. The finish is authentic and full of character with a distressed patina having visible stains commensurate age and use as seen in photos. The table is sturdy having strong joinery and construction.
