19th Century Country French Provincial Fruitwood Farmhouse Dining Table

Handsome 19th century country French Provincial farmhouse dining table or harvest table featuring a nearly 8 foot long two-plank thick fruitwood top. Classic European farmhouse profile and euro-skinny dimensions. One side of the table has been fitted with two storage drawers with metal pulls. Constructed with wood peg joinery with repairs and modifications making the table solid and strong. The top is supported by square tapered legs with repaired feet. The fruitwood has a lovely aged patina and dark warm honey tone. One side of the table measures 24 inches from the floor to the apron. The other side measures 22.75 because of the additions made to the drawer supports. Full of charm and character that only comes from age. The large plank top is surprisingly straight as most large plank tables have a fair amount of warpage to the long planks over time. The lovely woodgrains are showcased on all sides and top of the table.
