Rustic 19th century country french cast iron butchers table or console featuring a thick, weathered white Carrara marble top. The versatile work table is crafted from cast iron with x form legs at each end having decorative scrolls. Each side of the table has amazing bulls heads with horns. The legs are conjoined by stretchers and end with casters. The Carrara marble top has a lovely worn patina that is soft with small losses to commensurate its age and use. Very heavy and solid with an impressive country farmhouse aesthetic and handsome profile. Could serve as a pastry table, kitchen island, work table, or display table. From a winery estate in the Napa Valley, California.
