Large rustic walnut library step ladder designed by Rose Tarlow Melrose House, Beverly Hills, California The step ladder features a sturdy walnut frame with thick patinated forged iron handrails on each side. The top platform measures 27 inches high having an open framework with x-form stretchers on each side and finely proportioned tiers. Known as the Dayton Hall step ladder the (model #AC-2068) frame is heavy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The walnut and iron have an intentionally distressed patina to mimic age. Handsome profile and large scale that could also serve as a display structure. From an estate in Bel Air, California.
