Amazing pair of lounge chairs or bergere armchairs made in the grand neoclassical Louis XVI taste by Hendrix Allardyce Los Angeles, CA. The chairs feature a carved frame with an intentionally, aged distressed patina on the painted finish. Made in a his and hers style with one lighter toned leather and one slightly darker finish that is very subtle as seen in photos. The frames are upholstered with rich, leather hides and decorative patinated brass tack nail head borders. Upholstered in 2005 by JJ Collection in Los Angeles. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a charming, aged finish. This model is known as the Matignon chair HA-126.
