20th century mid-century modern monumental waterfall bench seat, coffee cocktail table, or console table. Made in the style and manner of iconic designer Karl Springer (German-American 1931-1991). The table measures 10 feet long with gracefully curved waterfall ends. The beautifully shaped frame measures 3 inches thick and has a thick parchment toned lacquered finish. The wide legs end with patinated brass clad feet. Very heavy, strong, and sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The lacquered finish has an aged patina that has a lovely faded finish with minor blemishes that commensurate its age and use. Versatile piece that can be used as sofa table, bench, cocktail table, or display. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
