Serene 20th century Japanese showa period four panel byobu screen featuring an autumn landscape over a dramatic gilt gold leaf ground. Ink and color pigments over squares of gold leaf with an inscribed 5-character Chinese poetic couplet on the left side with one seal. Major loss on front image as seen in photos with old repair still visible.
