Enrique Garcel Colombian Tessellated Bone Chair with Bouclé
$2,800.00
A striking modern tessellated bone side chair designed in Columbia by Enrique Garcel for Jimeco Itda. The chair features Garcel’s hand-applied tessellated bone veneer construction, with small ivory bone tiles forming a polished and uniform surface across the entire frame. The bone is painstakingly hand-laid in a warm ivory or parchment palette veneer resulting in a beautiful geometric herringbone style pattern. The natural variation in the bone creates a subtle mosaic effect, giving the piece texture and depth. The chair has an elegantly modern silhouette with tapered legs, arched apron cutouts, and an open back composed of three vertical supports beneath a cylindrical top rail. The rail is finished with polished nickel circular end caps, adding a refined modern element. The tapered splat and legs, angled supports, and arched apron gives the chair graceful and dynamic movement. The seat is newly upholstered in an ivory bouclé fabric. The chair is suited for use as a dining chair, desk chair, vanity chair, hall, or accent chair. The chair is sturdy with solid joinery and construction in exceptional condition. The bone veneer has some natural color variation as seen in photos. Matching waterfall desk also available. From an estate in San Francisco, CA. Partial "Enrique Garcel Colombia by Jimeco Ltda" label underneath the seat.
