19th Century Louis XV Style Walnut and Cane Fauteuil Armchair

Distinctive 19th century French fauteuil armchair or hall chair featuring a rare high caned back. Beautifully crafted from walnut with a rich aged patina on the finish. The seat has a fitted seat cushion made from black naugahyde over a caned seat. The padded arms have patinated brass tack accents and measure 25 inches high. The seat is supported by gracefully curved cabriole legs ending with scrolls. Unique style with a handsome profile and tall back from an estate in Napa Valley, CA.
