Distinctive 19th century French fauteuil armchair or hall chair featuring a rare high caned back. Beautifully crafted from walnut with a rich aged patina on the finish. The seat has a fitted seat cushion made from black naugahyde over a caned seat. The padded arms have patinated brass tack accents and measure 25 inches high. The seat is supported by gracefully curved cabriole legs ending with scrolls. Unique style with a handsome profile and tall back from an estate in Napa Valley, CA.

Materials: Brass, Cane, Naugahyde, Walnut

Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with an aged patina on the wood finish as seen in photos. Cane has very minor losses that are difficult to see. Small age cracks as expected.
