Set of Three Bielecky Brothers Rattan and Wicker Lounge Chairs

$6,800.00

A handsome set of three late 20th century woven wicker and rattan organic modern lounge armchairs attributed to Bielecky Brothers, New York. The chairs feature curved barrel back form frames with gently sloped arms, and deeply woven basket-form bases, giving the chairs a relaxed and casual profile. The set is finished in a warm honey toned woven wicker over a rattan pole frame accented by an oversized braided rattan trim on the border. The chairs are paired with large loose seat and back cushions in a textured indigo-blue fabric, creating a vivid contrast with the wicker and giving a modern coastal effect to the chairs. The chairs are constructed in the California Coastal Organic Modern taste in the manner and style of pieces by Ralph Lauren, Michael Taylor, and McGuire. The chairs arms measure 24" tall. The frames are sturdy and solid. The set is in exceptional vintage condition as seen in photos with a desirable aged patina to the rattan finish. Sold as a set of three. From an estate in Marin County, CA.
