Stylish pair of Bohemian rattan and wicker lounge chairs or armchairs having large peacock or fan backs. The chairs feature gracefully curved rattan frames embellished with decorative woven wicker designs of sunburst patterns. The backs are centered by a medallion splat with large cobra arms on each side of the generous seat. The seats have loose seat cushions later added with a seat height of 13.5 inches without cushions. Sturdy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The chairs have a dramatic profile made in the organic modern style. Sold as a pair from an estate in San Francisco, CA.
