Distinctive set of four iron counter height barstools made in the manner and style of Mario Papperzini for John Salterini mid-century modern designs. The Amalfi stools have an iconic lattice metal strap neoclassical style on the seat and back. The backs have a gracefully curved round form. The seat is supported by round legs with a hand-hammered finish and they are conjoined by a round footrest stretcher. Solid and sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The Amalfi chairs are similar in style and design to Janus et Cie from California. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA.
