Set of Four McGuire Rattan Oak Caned Back Bar Stools

Handsome set of four rattan and oak barstools made in the California coastal organic modern style by McGuire, San Francisco. The bar height stools feature a solid rattan and oak frame with a swivel seat. The generous seats have a gracefully curved and caned back fitted with a conforming seat cushion in glove soft leather. The frame is lashed together with leather rawhide laces. The seat is supported by thick rattan poles conjoined by a patinated brass footrest. The stools have an intentionally aged, distressed patina with a cerused style glazed finish to mimic age. The artisan finish gives the chairs a lovely aged patina. Strong and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. McGuire plaques on bottom of each chair. From an estate in Napa, CA.
