19th Century English Embossed Leather Wallpaper Screen

Fantastic 19th-century arts and crafts four-panel painted and embossed leather style wallpaper screen. The screen features thick embossed panels decorated with scrolling vines having fruit. The leather paper has a beautifully aged, weathered patina to commensurate its age and use. The front panel is finished in a deep cinnabar red color with patinated brass tack nail heads on the sides. The reverse side is brown with a heavily distressed patina and losses as seen in photos. Each panel has a gracefully arched top.

Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with an aged patina on the painted finish as seen in photos. Rear side has major losses front side is presentable with losses to edges.
